I live for God. I laugh for Him too. Find steadfast joy in Him.

Psalms 126:1-3
"When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, 'The LORD has done great things for them.' The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy."

--> We have found freedom in God as well. We can live out the joy depicted in this verse!

SKI ISSUES: Some Really Bad Advice (from ME)

SO, Me and TH were skiing with a big group of people. We didn't know each other well. At all really. Anyways, we were going down a hill. I'd bombed it until I got to a fork in the path. TH came up and asked which way to go. I said 'I think to the right'. Right she went. I waited. Then, the rest of the group bombed past me to the left. Too much time had passed and I didn't think I could catch up to her. So, I, horrible person that I am, went left. I tried to meet up with her at the bottom of the hill. That's when I learned that to the right was a black diamond hill. She was a new skier. I spent the next hour looking for her. It was bad. Finally, after talking to what felt like everyone I'd ever met, I checked the lodge. She was fine. Probably a little upset, but still safe. Now, that's a funny way to make a friend.

Radio SCANNERS: Me, TH, and the STRANGER

Hitting the scan button on the radio is probably one of my most favourite car pastimes. I love it. Sure, you hit some corn, some junk, some talking, and lots of advertisements. Still, there's something about having 30 seconds of possibilities. Me and TH were being awesome in the Highlander. We scanned until we hit what Mister Giggles calls 'The Mothermode'. POLKA! It was epic. We decided to go full out. Windows wide open, we blasted it! We car danced! We drove past this old lady carrying her groceries home. She started dancing! It was awesome. Like twenty minutes later we passed her again. She saw us and started waving like a crazy person... like the way I wave... like the way TH waves when she's not being self-conscious. All for the love of polka. I could never find that station again. It may have been a theme hour or something, either way, it was amazing. Fun times.

Me Accidently Singing.

I am tone-deaf. I sing horribly. That admitted, I love music. I sing all day long, very badly, but still I sing. I sing at work all of the time. I scare people with it. I do so intentionally. One time however, it was quite by accident. I was a Disney kid. 'The Beauty and The Beast' was and is and will always be one of my favourite movies. When I was 13, I finally tracked down the soundtrack (Remember with before iTunes and Amazon... weird). Anyways my parents, TH, and me were heading up to the cottage. I was enjoying the CD on my awesome Discman! Anyways, like half an hour later TH smacked me. When I pulled off my headphones she asked me to please stop singing. I had no idea. I still feel bad that they had to listen to that for half an hour! Hahaha! Obviously not super bad...

Physically Comedic: Montreal Style.

I was like 14. Super super hyper. And at some sporting event. You know the regular Grade 9 Montreal Trip - my Niece took it this year and it's exactly the same. Bio-dome, Old Montreal, Expo's Game (I don't even know if that's connected... or even a team... or what sporting event was happening... I'm throwing out random words). I think I had thunder sticks with me at the time. Anyways, I was suddenly overcome with jealousy. I ridiculously wanted to put a foam finger on. Another student had one. I, being of the Lisa fashion, determined to have it. I annoyed to no avail. Eventually, this resulted in a playful fight, also of the Lisa variety. It ended badly. The foam finger was dropped. In the middle of a hall. How it landed there I know not. Either way, it was exactly in the middle of me and the other student. We both ran for it. We both collided. I almost broke my nose. I was gushing blood, and I'm not a medically inclined person, I panic when I see that stuff. Anyways, a teacher grabbed me and painfully stopped it. Ouch. But my nose still has an indentation. My family members tell me that it's a family trait. I say to them: not so! I have pictures to prove it. All that to say that I'm pretty crazy and I find that funny.

P.S. I no longer like foam fingers.

Cashier Tales: The Lady vs The Lemon

I'm on my break, but I had to tell this story before I forget it in and amongst other crazy customers. This lady holds up this frozen concentrate for pink lemonade. It says pink lemonade. It's pink all over. Then she asks me if it's really pink lemonade. I assure her that it is. Ready for the funny? She then says that she wasn't sure because there's a picture of a yellow lemon on it! Whahahaha! Forget that the 'pink' part is usually fake strawberry or raspberry flavour! Oh so funny. All I could picture was her trying to find pink lemons to make homemade pink lemonade! I know a lot of what we eat is genetically modified, but a pink lemon would freak me out. I was the kid who wouldn't eat that disgusting multi-coloured popcorn. That stuff still freaks me out! Back to the wonderful world of groceries go I. Have a great and funny day Germany!

YUCK!

FOR YOU! From: Me & Mr. Si

This was for a particular person, but can be expanded to include pretty much everyone ever. I speak for myself and on behalf of Mr. Si... ENJOY! Note the scary twitching eyes - I can't replicate those... yet...

The Hilarity Court: Person vs Cake

So. I was around a person I don't really know. I'd always liked her and such, but still no real knowing (I'm shy sometimes okay!). It was like she had a wall and I had a wall. Then I got one of those glimpses. You know those moments where you see the full out, holding nothing back, person. It was funny. She found it embarrassing. I wouldn't have. She ate a bite of cake... bad cake... fully reacted to the bad cake... spat it out... then she looked up and asked me not to tell anyone. I laughed. I'm still giggling. It was so funny and the begging was so sincere, which is why this will never be further revealed. Either way, I also find it hilarious that I love her because of this moment. It's not like many different emotions went into the millisecond it happened in, but still it was a full-out glimpse. That's just cool. The walls (both sets) went up immediately, but now I love her through them. That's a stupid but for God thing. Humour always gets through my walls though, which is why it's so important to me. It helps me connect.
