I live for God. I laugh for Him too. Find steadfast joy in Him.

Psalms 126:1-3
"When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, 'The LORD has done great things for them.' The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy."

--> We have found freedom in God as well. We can live out the joy depicted in this verse!

Passing on the Clumsy.

Today I went into work to get my hours. I told a supe (who thinks I'm crazy) to make a different sound effect for each stair she had to climb. In turning to assure me that she wouldn't do so... she tripped! She tripped up the stairs! She was okay and such. Sad, but oh so funny!!! I always trip up the stairs - so I was kind of proud - it's so much better and safer than tripping down the stairs. I guess it wasn't actually passing on the clumsy though... because I was at the time distracting... ah well, either way funny times at the 'No Free Homeless' store.

The Day of the Smarties.

Me vs No Frills. 8 hour match. Disgusting Fernbrooke water provided for competitors (I don't like it, I very very much don't like it... in fact... I hate it!). So... working in a grocery store has some drawbacks, don't get me wrong the co-workers and customers are nice and funny (insert your name into this category... but only if you're cool enough), but you're surrounded by food; You're not supposed to shop while you're hungry... working in a grocery store... even worse. Last week I really wanted Smarties. They had just restocked them and they just looked bright and shiny and delicious. I don't like Smarties, which is why this is funny - I liked them as a kid, but I hate the whole 'no artificial colours' thing. They look and taste weird; Bring back the fake stuff. Hmmm. Anyways, tangent tangents. I couldn't figure out why I wanted them. I told a fellow cashier and they'd wanted to get them all day too. They hated them as well! Then, hours later, we figured it out - they changed the packages. That's more than a little scary - go ad people! She was working again today so we gave the Smarties a chance... they were even more gross then I remembered. Never again. Thankfully, another person liked 'em or they would have ended up in the trash. All that to share with you the fact that today... today the Smarties won. They roped us in. They pulled in a purchase. They will however never have this opportunity again because the nostalgic memories have been wholeheartedly destroyed.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Okay - I've said it before and I'll say it always... CHUCK is my favourite show EVER!!! As such, I don't watch it while it's on (I can't not know the ending... I'd never sleep... ever!) and I also don't try to learn too much about it (otherwise I get crazier... hard to believe, I know.). Anyways, 'Who' used to watch it for me (and her) while I was in University (and I totally called 3 different major events - probably because I love the writing so much as well), Nieceamine gave me some info last season, I download but rarely listen to the podcast (still the same reason... crazy) and Nenners checks the sites for info. She told me about the Mark Hamil (Luke Skywalker, people!) MULTI-EPISODE arc!!! Whaaaaaa! The way she she described it made me think this clip was about Jedi Mind Controledness - it's not, Nenners doesn't watch a (I like putting letters in random places... to sound cooler!) Star Wars - but it is still majorly awesome.

P.S.
One time my sister quoted Yoda and I knew that she was quoting Chuck quoting Yoda. That's hilarious. Way to use the 'Nerd Herd' to bring references of awesomeness to those who wouldn't normally interact with 'em!

Voyager's Flight! The (2nd) Day my iPhone Almost DIED.

Nieceamine was drinking water. I started singing. She started laughing and struggling with holding the water in. Funny. I decided to get her reaction on video. My iPhone suffered the consequences. Nieceamine was trying to shake it (to make my face look weird) and instead hit it hard. It flew like 3 and a half feet! The screen was black when I picked it up - you can probably hear that in my voice (I'm broke okay). This morning though - I put it in it's old case - thankfully. The flight killed the case, but not my little Voyager; My iPhone is plucky and amazing.

Miswordings.

In talking about how people who don't know you using names from a name tag. I was saying it's awkward. Nieceamine however was saying that she does it all the time. Then... she said...
"Yeah, at a restaurant I'll say to the waiter 'thanks, germ'".
Hahahahaha! Germ! She meant to say Jeremy. Funny funny.

Mr. Si - I called him a reiterater because he told us the same story multiple times. He explained that by adding the word 'so', he was saying that he already knew he shared it. Then he called it a reinterater. Nieceamine later called it a regurgitater. Whahaha. Interesting what new word additions can do.
Well, Nieceamine is getting ready for Birthday times. I have failed at saving her present for family times since she was a toddler. I get too excited then I give in too readily. Here's this year's attempt to get her win. This year I will hold out as long as I can, though I think I'll have to do a day before thing. Hmmm... she also asked me if I would hit her really hard in the hopes that I would feel bad enough to give her a present. I refrained.

New Catchphrase.

Judy Holliday and the 'Cuckoo' from my favourite funny musical: The Bells are Ringing'! Nieceamine & I got really really hyper after we got home on Drive-in movie night... it ended up as 'Choo Choo'.  This is our today's rendition of it. Please excuse the TMNT tee.
